The Story of Barcelona

I was sitting near the window in a restaurant to enjoy the cool air-conditioned air. It was the best place to view the street and capture candid street pictures. This McDonalds building is one of them — each of the windows of every floor presented a different stories.

Casa Batlló is a renowned building located in the center of Barcelona and is one of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces. The local name for the building is Casa dels ossos (House of Bones), as it has a visceral, skeletal organic quality. The building looks very remarkable — like everything Gaudí designed.

Casa Milà also known as La Pedrera (meaning the 'The Quarry’). In 1984, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is currently the headquarters of the Fundació-Catalunya La Pedrera, which manages the various exhibitions and activities done there and the public visits.
